THE INVESTMENT ADVISOR FOR ENHANCED INDEX FUNDS 24 August 2009 Change in Directors of Enhanced Investment Products (Cayman)
Limited We are writing to you with regard to the appointment of Mr. Paul Mack as an additional director of Enhanced Investment Products (Cayman) Limited (the "Manager"). Mr. Paul Mack was appointed as an additional director of the Manager on 19 May 2009. Mr. Mack is Chief Operating Officer of the Arundel Iveagh Group, a minority shareholder of Enhanced Investment Products Limited. He has previously worked with single manager hedge funds and third party hedge fund marketing groups. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of Colonial First State Investments UK and Managing Director of Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management in Hong Kong. Prior to this he was Managing Director of Credit Lyonnais Asset Management Hong Kong and previously with Price Waterhouse in Hong Kong and London. Mr. Mack is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a Fellow of the UK Securities Institute. He is a resident of the United Kingdom. Funds We are writing to announce that the Enhanced Investment Products (Cayman) Limited (the "Manager") entered into an agreement with Enhanced Investment Products Limited (“EIP”) on 4th February 2009 whereby EIP will provide investment advisory services to the Manager with effect from 21st February 2009 subject to the terms and conditions as contained the new agreement. The Enhanced Index Funds affected by the change in investment advisor are: Enhanced Taiwan Index Fund Enhanced China Index Fund Enhanced India Index Fund Enhanced Malaysia Index Fund Enhanced South Korea Index Fund Enhanced Thailand Index Fund Enhanced Indonesia Index Fund Enhanced Philippines Index Fund Enhanced Emerging Asia Index Fund The investment advisory arrangement between the Manager and BNY Mellon was terminated effective from 20th February 2009.
